The Visionary Art & Life
of Alex Grey & Allyson Grey

Artists Alex Grey and Allyson Grey claim three bodies of work between them: Alex’s art, Allyson’s art and their shared social sculpture, CoSM, the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Soul and studio-mates for over forty years, Alex & Allyson will share their blended journey of painting, performance art and their creation of sacred space at the forefront of a Visionary Art Movement.

Together the Grey’s co-founded the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, (CoSM), a spiritual retreat center for artists. On the forefront of a movement in which painters join musicians on stage, the Grey’s have painted together live before tens of thousands of people at New York’s Broadway theaters, at sold-out festivals and arenas in dozens of cities across five continents. As long-time advocates of “cognitive liberty,” a growing international art movement has embraced the Grey’s as important mapmakers and spokespersons for the visionary realm.
